Summary
At Codec, we are looking for a Commercial Lead for our Belfast office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-established and successful company, operating in a rapidly growing market.

Job Description
The Commercial Lead will be responsible for selling software solutions and services to corporates and government bodies in Northern Ireland. You will own the development and execution of a sales strategy for our Belfast office.

Responsibilities
 Responsible for growing the customer base within our target sector.
 Locate, develop and close sales opportunities in our target sectors.
 Generate, build and maintain a substantial sales pipeline.
 Focus on increasing market share and penetration and lead management.
 Provide a consultative solution sales process to prospects.
 Understand customer requirements and align products and/or service solutions accordingly.
 Present our offering to customers, provide detailed proposals, and respond to tenders.
 Maintain quarterly sales plan, provide accurate pipe line forecasting to the business.
 Attend sector specific events.
 Deliver on agreed Revenue and KPI targets.
 Represent the company at sales events.
 Work as an integral part of the business leadership team to develop and grow the business.

Essential Requirements for the Role:
 8+ years of software solution sales experience, preferably in CRM/ERP sales.
 Strong Public Sector IT sales experience in Northern Ireland
 Experience of selling high-value contracts involving multiple decision makers.
 Good understanding of software development process and cycles.
 Experience of selling high-value contracts involving multiple decision makers.
 Track record of meeting and beating exceeding sales targets.
 Familiarity with key Microsoft technology for business environments.
 Degree level qualification, preferably in IT or Business.
 Experience in a medium and long term, consultative sales cycle.

Advantageous:
 Experience of selling solutions on the MS CRM /ERP platform.
 Experience of selling across Government and major corporations.

 This person has excellent communication skills: interpersonal, presentation, written.
