Facilities Coordinator – Part time

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Coordinator to oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of our office building and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning.

The goal is to ensure our business’s accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions. This is a part time role, working mornings between 8am-2pm.

Responsibilities

You will have day to day operational responsibility for:

  • Management of daily controls such as parking space allocation, waste disposal, recycling, plumbing and security
  • Ensure that all in-house facilities services provided are efficiently performed, address issues and implement changes when required to improve the service
  • Liaise with management and staff on any facilities requirements
  • Manage all health & safety activities and design & implement policies and processes for the same
  • Inspect the building structure to determine the need for repairs or renovations
  • Review utilities consumption in line with budgets and strive to minimise costs
  • Oversee 3rd party contractors & suppliers engaged for facility renovation work or projects
  • Reception cover as required
  • Light administration work
  • the general appearance and uptake of all facilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities and/or services is essential, with experience in professional environment desirable
  • Must be responsible, very flexible and practical in their approach
  • Well-versed in health & safety best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Resourceful & capable of working on own initiative
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • A full clean Irish driving license is required for this role
