The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) has recently appointed Codec for the implementation of their Digital Transformation solution. The solution will provide comprehensive functionality in relation to qualification recognition and registration for individuals: registration for pharmacies, pharmacy compliance and quality assessment, case management, fee management, and will also provide an online register of pharmacies and pharmacists.  The solution from Codec will be built on the Microsoft Power Platform, with Dynamics 365 at the core.

The PSI is a public body established in law to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of patients and the public, by regulating pharmacists and pharmacies in Ireland. The PSI is an independent body and an agency of the Department of Health. As the pharmacy regulator, the PSI set the standard for pharmacists’ education and training in Ireland, and create the standards and supports to promote good professional practice in pharmacy. They register pharmacists, pharmaceutical assistants and pharmacies, carry out inspections of pharmacies, and take action when there is a concern or complaint about a pharmacist or a pharmacy.
