Codec-dss will henceforth be known as Codec after we announced a rebrand of our company name logo on September 29. The changes aim to provide a more consistent message to our UK, European and global customers. Previously, the company was operating as Codec-dss in Ireland and the UK but as Codec in Europe. We have also changed our logo for a pan-European audience.

Codec is the only Microsoft ‘Full Platform’ partner in Ireland, offering the full Microsoft and Hyperion stack of solutions from a single company. Founded in Dublin over 30 years ago, Codec is a long-standing IT services consulting company, which uses Microsoft technology to solve complex business challenges, and to deliver unique business value to customers.

The company’s core focus is banking, utilities and providing back office support and consultation to a number of the world’s Fortune 500 companies. Codec specialises in digital transformation and cloud-based technologies and can count on some of the leading experts in their respective IT-related fields among our staff. With offices in Dublin, Galway, Cork, Belfast, London, Poland and Germany, the company has a workforce of more than 180 staff and is currently on an aggressive acquisition programme of expansion into the UK and Europe.

Speaking on the rebranding announcement, Codec Commercial Director John Roddy said: ‘’these changes are part of a wider expansion plan that has been underway in Codec for the past year. We are aiming to grow our operations in Poland and UK and introducing a consistent brand was part of this.’’

John continued: ‘’it’s a wonderful new chapter in the company’s history. For 32 years, Codec has been at the cutting edge in IT solutions and services. We take a huge amount of pride in the quality of our expertise and service, and this is why our clients are always satisfied. We now want to take the company on to new heights and keep improving and growing.’’

The rebrand follows dramatic growth Codec in the last year as we have seen a huge increase in new business over the past 12 months after recently winning major contracts with customers across public and private sectors including Financial Services and Professional Services. Codec has also recently won the prestigious Microsoft partner of the Year Award and announced 50 new jobs at its Galway office. The company achieved a UKOUG Oracle User Group silver POY between 2012 and 2017.

The new logo will appear on 2nd October 2017 2017 in all aspects of Codec’s communications across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
