Codec & Microsoft to jointly sponsor Irish National Start-up Awards 2022

Codec, in conjunction with Microsoft are delighted to participate as joint platinum sponsor at the forthcoming national start-up awards taking place on 1st December in City Hall, Dublin.

Now in their 11th year, these awards celebrate and recognise the most innovative start-up companies in Ireland and are regarded as THE platform for identifying the best emerging talent.

Work has been underway for the past six months for these awards with hundreds of entries submitted across the Island of Ireland. The judging process is a rigorous one with companies initially being shortlisted into regional category shortlists, then further shortlisted to a national shortlist of 60 companies across 12 categories.

These 60 companies will be represented on the evening of 1st December at an awards ceremony in City Hall, Dublin where the winners will be announced.

Commenting on the awards, Ronan Stafford, CEO for Codec said “We’re delighted to be involved as a co-sponsor with Microsoft at the National Start-up awards for 2022. Our support for these awards is part of our commitment to working with emerging ISVs. This collaboration with Microsoft is a great fit as we both understand the unique needs of early-stage start-ups and we are excited to support these companies on their road to success” he added.

These highly successful awards have been an invaluable launchpad for many companies in the past and previous winners have included companies such as FinTech startup, Strikepay, Nova Leah, SwiftComply, Surf Accounts, Allogen, BioTech, Agile Networks & The Handmade Soap Company to name but a few.

With a two year hiatus imposed due to Covid, the event is back in person and taking place in the historic building of City Hall and will be hosted once again by Craig Doyle.
