Doosan designs, manufactures and sells a range of machinery including forklifts, dump trucks and mini-excavators, and employs close to 40,000 people in 38 countries.

The group’s Irish-headquartered unit, Doosan Holdings European Limited, chose Codec to be their partner for Microsoft Dynamics NAV support. Doosan have hundreds of NAV users in multiple countries across the world all supported by Codec.  Doosan had previously struggled with different partners supporting their varying business requirements across their global sites.

Working with Codec, and using the Jira logging system, Doosan find that everyday support for user setups, data migration, reporting and new development among their NAV users has enabled them to free up key users for more productive tasks.

Generali Link chose Codec to implement Dynamics ERP because they wanted a local Irish partner with the resources not only to implement the ERP solution, but that could also advise on the functional aspects of Dynamics ERP, as well as data migration and reporting.

Generali’s resources were overworked as they had to manually process all incoming and outgoing invoices. Incoming invoices were filed in an array of folders, and traceability was becoming difficult. Invoices were regularly lost in the confusion.

Codec demonstrated to Generali Link how Microsoft Dynamics NAV would solve their varying performance issues.  They quickly saw how Microsoft Dynamics NAV would save them time and help them grow. They now produce their management accounts in a fraction of the time previously involved.

Codec answered the Grosvenor RFP and put forward Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales, Customer Service and Dynamics NAV as the best solution. We demonstrated to the customer that for this type of engagement, the Microsoft Dynamics platform could address all of their financial planning issues.

We competed with SAP and several other vendors, but were awarded the project because of the depth of our Dynamics 365 expertise and our considerable experience with similar projects.

Grosvenor’s decision was based on the fact that Codec would deliver a cost-effective solution that would meet all of their business requirements.

CRH provide a procurement service to all the key operating companies within the CRH group. They needed to implement a financial platform to interface easily with other systems as required (e.g. bank for payments, Hyperion/EXQL for reporting). They needed it to be scalable to support future demands of the business and it needed to provide a cost-effective solution.

Oracle is in use as their core Group Finance system but CRH wanted to implement a more cost-effective solution for the core team.  They selected Microsoft’s Dynamic’s 365 for Finance and Operations for their finance and procurement system. CRH released an RFP to select a partner to work with. Codec demonstrated our expertise on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform to CRH, we showed that our approach and our understanding of their requirements, meant we were the best local Irish Partner to provide their desired solution.

Codec were chosen to implement the Dynamics AX solution for the Smartbox across Europe. Codec have also worked with Smartbox on Business Intelligence and SharePoint online projects. Codec positioned the Microsoft Platform as the best approach to meet the specific business requirements of Smartbox and conducted workshops in key areas with the business including the areas of financial reporting. functional requirements, integrations with other systems and technical workshops to discuss the best infrastructure for the solution to be deployed on (cloud or on premise).
