International Women's Day Event: Irish Whiskey Museum, Dublin, 8th March 2023

Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, sterotypes, and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women's equality. Collectively we can all #EmbraceEquity.

Codec invite you to join us for a celebration of women's achievement at our International Women's Day event on Wednesday 8th March in the unique venue of the Irish Whiskey Museum on Grafton St,. Dublin. 

Chaired by Codec, we have an excellent panel of speakers who are doing great work to progress gender equality and make a positive difference for women in the workplace. 

We do hope you will join us at the event – all are welcome. You will be in great company with others who are passionate about gender equality.

  • 5pm - arrival and networking at the Irish Whiskey Museum  

  • 5.15pm - guest speaker presentations & panel discussions 

  • 6pm - drinks & canapés

  • 7pm - event finish & optional FREE museum tour

About the panel:

Jeevantika Lingalwar

Jeevantika Lingalwar, Cloud Solution Architect , Microsoft

Jeevantika is a passionate advocate for Women in Technology and Diversity & Inclusion. She is the D&I gender pillar lead for Microsoft Ireland and has a number of awards to her name including “WomenTech Global Ambassador Award of the year 2021” as well as being a finalist in “ Woman of the Year 2021”, Mentor of the Year 2021”, and Community of the year award 2021.

With an Msc. In Cloud Computing and a B.E in Computer Science Engineering, Jeevantika is also a technology speaker and founded the International Women in Tech group with a community of over  4,300 members. An entrepreneur, leader, and a Tech speaker Jeevantika is passionate about helping others grow and share her experience and knowledge with everyone.

Barbara Conden, CEO, Ruhama 

Barbara is the Chief Executive Officer with Ruhama, an Irish NGO working nationally with women impacted by prostitution and victims of sex trafficking. 

Barbara Condon’s career spans over twenty-five years in healthcare with a specific interest in the areas of social justice, mental health, addiction & sexual violence. Throughout her career Barbara’s passion for human rights, social justice, and equality - in particular for women - has been a constant feature. She currently champions these issues with an organisation supporting some of the most marginalised women and girls in Ireland today.

Michelle McKenna, Health & Life Sciences Account Director , Codec 

Michelle joined Codec with more than 20 years proven international consultative experience in strategic leadership, customer success, delivery management and business development in the health sector.

Michelle has worked and traveled across the world experiencing a diverse range of cultures, including Russia in the early '00's as well as Iran, Saudi Arabia and Myanmar more recently, bringing a wealth of lived experiences of international gender diversity. She is passionate about gender equality and making a positive difference for working women.

Catherine Moore, Senior Principal Business Analyst, Codec 

Catherine is a Senior Principle Analyst and Change Manager from Codec with over 10 years’ experience in delivering digital transformation projects. Catherine is passionate about end users and their experience with digital. Catherine enjoys looking for innovative solutions to help people with their digital journey, ensuring they get the best from their investment in technology. Catherine has presented at a number of conferences and is a  an advocate for women's rights and bridging the gender equality gap.
