Heineken’s data reporting mechanism for tracking vendors was limited to highly detailed Excel spreadsheets and was no longer fit for purpose. Having to rely on Excel and SQL to generate their data requirements was proving to be both inadequate and time-consuming so Codec were called upon to redesign the vendor data reporting process, and implemented a hybrid solution using Flow and Power apps.
Heineken reporting services are now effectively integrated with their warehouse allowing for faster, more detailed and accurate data-gathering. The company can also now access a range of applications to help them more efficiently manage the vendor reporting process, and to enable approved staff members such as sales representatives to review and approve actions.
As a result of Codec’s work Heineken are in the position for the first time to allow users to interact with live data, access up-to-date reports and adopt Power BI for even more thorough and far-reaching insights into their data. All in all this deployment will ensure the business can save time and make better business decisions based on real and current data.

Codec identified a solution to facilitate Bimeda’s Product Development, empowering their workforce and reducing administration burden on key stakeholders. Because of the scale and globalisation of Bimeda’s workforce, it was essential to first create an appropriate Architecture for Bimeda’s SharePoint sites. There followed the design and implementation of the Product Development solution.
Bimeda now have a fully digital Product Development solution from the input of initial ideas from the business all the way to the final approval stage from finance and senior management.

Matheson sought a solution to the challenge of sourcing staff with particular skills for specific roles. If a particular legal job called for someone with expertise in aviation law and German language skills for example, Matheson felt it was not time-efficient to search through PDF directories or send communications out to various departmental managers.
Matheson can now access a bespoke solution called People Search which integrates with their existing database, and has enhanced and transformed their staff selection and evaluation processes saving them vast amounts of time and radically improving outcomes.

SharePoint Farm Migrations: There were four SharePoint environments in Ervia (SharePoint 2007, 2010 and 2013). Codec’s Sharepoint consultants worked on the migration of the Farms to SharePoint 2013 and to SharePoint Online.
The migrations led to improved performances via new Sharepoint developments for IT governance, HR administration, intranet and a new server installation.
