🎄Full Stack Event at The Merrion Hotel

Christmas tree and breakfast setting at The Merrion Hotel

On December 4th, we welcomed guests to The Merrion Hotel for our Microsoft Full Stack event. The morning began with coffee, tea, and pastries, setting the stage for an engaging session of insights and live demos.

John Roddy, Commercial Lead, opened the event with a  warm  introduction before handing over to Catherine Moore, Business Change and Design ROI Practice Lead.

Catherine showcased Microsoft CRM, focusing on Power Platform and Dynamics 365. She demonstrated how Dynamics 365 CRM can streamline customer engagement and improve operational efficiency. Her live demo showcased practical features that help organisations manage relationships and deliver better outcomes.

Next, Paul While, D365 Lead Consultant, explored Business Central, his demo illustrated how automation can reduce complexity and improve decision-making. This section is particularly of interest to finance roles and through using a CFO persona, Paul demonstrated the value behind Business Central and walked the guests through the features of the dashboard.

Agustina Lazzarini, BI/Data & Analytics Consultant, followed with an overview of Microsoft Fabric and its powerful data capabilities. Agustina explained how Fabric's unified data platform enables organisations to connect, analyse, and act on data seamlessly. She emphasised its role in empowering businesses to unlock deeper insights and drive innovation.

To close, Tushar Kumar, Microsoft Azure MVP and Cloud Architect, walked attendees through security, governance and automation with AI. He walked the crowd through CSO persona problem points and introduced them to Microsoft Purview, demonstrating how governance and compliance tools help organisations protect sensitive information while embracing AI advancements. There was an emphasis on data security and the different methods of breach - his section on dealing with AI and security was particularly insightful.

The event was a resounding success, offering an opportunity to connect, share knowledge, and demonstrate how Microsoft’s full stack works seamlessly together to drive business transformation.
